The New York Times on the RC2 Recall

Here’s a link to a thought-provoking article in today’s New York Times about the RC2 recall of Thomas the Tank Engine wooden trains. And here’s another, to an article about the ubiquitous practice of offshore manufacturing, and the not-so-surprising possible consequences.

Makes you wonder: just how much are we prepared to pay — in some way, for there is always a cost — in order to have cheaper products?
